Open House at the Woodbridge Farmstead

12:00 pm - 2:00 pm
Woodbridge Farmstead
495 East Middle Turnpike
Manchester, CT

Free donations are welcome. It’s Manchester’s 200th birthday year, and Woodbridge Farmstead was there on day one! The 1830s-era farmhouse will be open for guided tours. You can also take a self-guided tour through our 18th-century barn and check out the displays inside our Visitor Center Barn, showing some of the history of the Manchester Green area. The Farmstead is located at Manchester Green, near the intersection of East Middle Turnpike with Woodbridge Street. Visitors can park at the municipal lot behind the Senior Center, in the lot behind the barns, or along the street between the Senior Center and the farmstead itself. From the street, walk to the backyard using the grass driveway between the house and Woodbridge Pizza. The Woodbridge farmstead is on the National Register of Historic Places. Raymond and Thelma Woodbridge donated The farm to the Manchester Historical Society in 1998. Additional open houses will be held throughout the summer.
