The Manchester Public Library is pleased to host Paul Colburn, Master Wildlife Conservationist, for “Black Bears of Connecticut” on Thursday, September 21, 2023, at 6:30 p.m. at the Whiton Branch Library on 100 North Main Street.

Wildlife expert Colburn will discuss the natural history of black bears in Connecticut and give an overview of black bear habitat, diet, behavior, reproduction, and current research efforts. This talk will also provide practical recommendations for optimum coexistence with our black bear population. No registration is required for this free program for adults.
