Grand Opening of Manchester Land Trust’s Story Trail: Saturday, May 1 at 1:00 p.m., kids, families, and adults are invited to the Trust’s new outdoor story trail. Meet and park at the cider barn, 330 Bush Hill Road, and walk along the dirt road to the pavilion, where we’ll walk, read, and explore along the storybook trail. A children’s librarian from Manchester Public Library will lead us along the half-mile trail, using a storybook with pictures to engage children and adults. There will be a May Day craft activity for children. The event is free and will be held rain or shine, but extreme weather cancels. We will follow the latest CDC social distancing requirements, so please plan to bring masks. There are three additional miles of trails to explore for those who have additional time after the story event.
