A Downtown Date-Night Event
Join our experienced Artist-In-Residence, Kim Desrosiers, for an exciting Introduction to Silk Painting event!
Discover the art of painting on silk and be a part of ‘Silk City’s’ artistic history. Beginning in 1838, the Cheney Brothers silk mills made Manchester the largest silk manufacturer in the nation.
During this hands-on workshop, you will learn various techniques to create a beautiful sunflower on silk fabric. Kim will guide you through the process, from transferring the image to applying dyes and creating a stunning piece of artwork.
We are also partnering with THE MAIN COURSE who will include a complimentary Apple Cider Mimosa & Appetizer at the event. Participants will also receive a coupon to The Main Course to be used through October and $2 off a drink at Urban Lodge the night of the event only.

No prior experience is necessary, making this event perfect for beginners. We provide all the necessary materials, including silk fabric, brushes, and dyes.
