Mike will be giving a 35-minute PowerPoint slideshow talk featuring some of the most interesting, unusual restaurants in CT, all featured in his book Unique Eats and Eateries of Connecticut.

Mike Urban is an award-winning food and travel writer and the author of four other books on New England cuisine: Clam Shacks, Lobster Shacks, The New England Diner Cookbook and TheNew England Seafood Markets Cookbook. He is a regular writer for Yankee magazine and a regular contributor to Connecticut magazine. A 30-year resident of Connecticut, Mike lives with his wife in the East Rock section of New Haven.
